PRAXI Toy Packaging

The objective is to design collectable toy packaging. The name, PRAXI, is derived from the Latin word Praxidice, which literally means the the practice (proxy) of justice (dice).

" In a world filled with evil and unjust, an organization was formed to bring back justice. However, their enemy – the justice system – is not only another organization, but something much larger. It has no defined boundary and could be bigger than a government or an entire country. PRAXI is to stop the ongoing warfare, and the people or organizations which make profit out of warfare. "

三千 SanZen Sake Wine Design

This new project is to design the labels for beverage. I picked Japanese Sake wine and decided to put in the traditional Japanese styling and pattern onto the design.There is a story behind the design: Which 三千(SanZen) is meaning the three thousand yen that three daughters sold themselves to the geisha house for their father to be able to take care of their sick mother and reopen the family winery business.

There are three different types of Sake to represent the three sisters. I used flavours to identify each girl: Mild, Spicy, and Sweet.

TIDF Redesign

This project is to design a media package for a event. I chose to do a Redesign of Toronto International Design Festival (TIDF). The original design of 2011 is simple so I decided to put more fun to it using shapes.

The idea was to indicate how ideas transform into visible object. Halfton is used to interpret how ideas generate. The spread of dots transforming into solid shapes are showing how ideas became visible object in art and design. These halftone images and solid shapes are the basic elements that are used in the package for continuity through other media such as postcard, tickets, poste, parking pass, etc.

Yesterday Today Tomorrow

The project this time is to make a fashion conference package – Yesterday Today Tomorrow. A package contains poster, booklet, one day pass, multi day pass, parking permit, buttons, and paper bag. This conference was actually held in London College of Fashion this year. My work was to design the package for this conference, of course not for real. But I like how everything turned out with a continuity.

The colourful spots are representing the brightness of various fashion seminars and shows.
